Exhibition for metal working Shahr-e-Aftab trade fair ground

Opening hours: 10am-5pm

AMB Iran – The leading international exhibition for metal working in Iran!

With 5.736 visitors and 202 exhibitors the second AMB Iran was a great success. Messe Stuttgart and the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW) want to continue with this great development and strengthen the importance of this leading international exhibition within the market.

Following the lifting of economic sanctions, Iran is currently considered to be one of the world’s most attractive investment markets. The backlog of requirements relating to the modernization of its industrial infrastructure is exceptionally great in Iran. In addition to modernizing the oil industry, it is primarily the automobile construction, the chemical industry and the health sector that offer enormous market potential in terms of machine and plant engineering.

Those who launch business activities in Iran right now will secure a head start in an extremely exciting market.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.

Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.

The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, AUMA, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.

The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.

As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
